The Directorate of Distance Education is currently offering CDOE (Centre for Distance and Online Education), which was established in 1979 and offers various programs of study. The university has the unique distinction of offering, for the first time, a postgraduate degree program in Applied Physics, Psychology, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Computer Science through Distance Education.
The Centre for Distance and Online Education of Annamalai University was previously a Centre for Correspondence and Continuing Education, which was renamed the Directorate of Distance Education in 1979. Since then, CDOE has been similar to distance education, offering a wide range of UG and PG programmes suitable for people of all age groups. Annamalai University is UGC-DEB approved, making the courses credible and high-quality, which helps students have successful careers in the future.
